Welcome to Troop 59's Website. We are excited to bring you this website as a means to improve planning, communication and--ultimately--the overall scouting experience for the Troop 59 Scouts of First Baptist Church Concord. NEW EAGLE SCOUT

Mr. Blake Brashear has earned his Eagle Scout by successfully completing his Eagle Board of Review on 26th of April 2012.  More information to follow.

May Court Of Honor

May Court of Honor is around the courner.

It will be held in the Fellowship Hall (Where we normally met) and will be from 6:30 to 8:30ish

We will be reconizing the Advancements of our hard working scouts & Merit badges earned. We will also have a few special presentatins to Church Staff members that help us out. There will be an Eagle Scout Project/Advancement presentation on the "new rules and procedure" as well as a brief history of Eagle scouts.The PLC will be Meeting tonight (7th May 2012) to discuss how they will run the program.

Appalachian Trail Trip 2012

The High Adventrue Back-Packing Trip is ON!

THE CREW IS SET!

May 26th - June 2nd We will be hiking the NC section of the Appalachian Trail (AT) that lies between GA & TN!

BSA Camp Cards

This year’s Camp Card sale is still in full swing!!  Due to supply demands, the sale deadline has been extended from May 14 to MAY 21!

I need all unsold Camp Cards and Money by May 21st so that I can turn them into the scout office prior to the AT TRIP.

Minnesota Boundary Waters

Northern Minnesota is truly canoe country! If you enjoy a little physical exertion and the unique feeling of dipping your paddle into the water to propel your canoe, then wilderness canoeing just might be for you. The combination of Minnesota's Boundary Waters Canoe Area and Ontario, Canada's Quetico Park forms one of the world's great wilderness areas; the largest international area set aside for wilderness recreational purposes in the world.
